Safety and Care

Over the past months, our country and fellow citizens of the world have had to make daily adjustments in the wake of unprecedented times. Wearing a mask in public spaces, keeping a six-foot distance from others, increased washing of surfaces and hands, working from home, remote meetings, distance learning and more have been implemented to prevent viral spread. Many of these changes may have even become second-nature as they have been practiced for some time now. Still, with our state of Florida experiencing a surge in positive COVID-19 cases, it is uncertain when we will see an end to this pandemic.

In the meantime, recommended guidelines are still being followed here at Aqua Home Care. The dedication from caregivers we refer continues as in-home care recipients receive quality support at home. All individuals are advised to take precautions against this virus, though those who are older, have weakened immune systems or those with underlying health conditions are more vulnerable to being severely impacted. We understand there are those who require in-home care services who fall into one or more of these categories. Our Aqua Home Care team and caregivers we refer are committed to safety and well-being, and precautions are taken to help ensure just that for both caregivers and their clients. In-home care services that support these efforts include:

  • Heavy housecleaning – disinfecting surfaces, laundering and changing linens, washing dishes, mopping, etc.
  • Medication reminders
  • Personal hygiene care – washing hands, showering/bathing, grooming, etc.
  • Transportation – doctor’s appointments, pharmacy, etc.
  • Companionship and supervision – at home or while out and about where assistance and monitoring for health and safety concerns would be beneficial
  • And more

It is our hope that we will soon see healing around the globe. We will continue to do all that we can here at Aqua Home Care to keep this virus at bay by following guidelines and taking precautions. When daily living support is needed, receiving care in the comfort and safety of home is a sought-after option. This may be especially true now as it is best to avoid places where illness can spread more easily. We at Aqua Home Care are still answering the call. If your or your loved one are in need of in-home care, call Aqua Home Care today.
