7th Annual Local Walk to Remember at Riverside Park

On Saturday, November 14, 2020 the Aqua Home Care team volunteered to participate in the Alzheimer and Parkinson Association’s 17th Annual Local Walk to Remember at Riverside Park in Vero Beach, Florida.

Our community joined together to raise awareness and fund support to ease the challenges posed by Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases; challenges faced daily by many clients of Aqua Home Care. Groups were asked to socially distance. Handsanitizer and masks were readily available. It felt different, but needed.

It was exciting to see our personal and professional neighbors safely gathering to assist a cause so dear to Aqua Home Care. Before the walk, our CEO and founder Eric Young, presented a check to the Alzheimer and Parkinson Association to set the tone of giving back. Our tent hosted individually wrapped power bars and trail mix to provide an extra boost of energy for walkers’ 2.2 mile route.

Aqua Home Care stands for community. We are proud to support the Alzheimer and Parkinson Association of Indian River County. We recognize and appreciate everyone involved whose continuous effort provide resources which always stay local!
