Family is the foundation on which we build our lives. The decisions we make, the paths we choose and the sacrifices we endure are often centered around those we cherish most. Having those strong familial bonds tends to have an impression on not only what we do, but what we feel. We want to share in our happiest occasions, lean on understanding shoulders on our more difficult days, and return the favor whenever needed. Through troubled times and joyous moments, family truly matters most.
The bond of family is a sentiment we at Aqua Home Care share and promote in our own practices. We understand firsthand the desire to be near loved ones and wanting the best for them throughout their time of need. We also understand how hard it has been on so many families during this pandemic. Togetherness during birthdays, holidays, family dinners, milestones and more have been put on hold while we implement social distancing and self-isolation. There have also been hardships, illnesses and fear that many are having to face apart from those they typically turn to. Grandparents miss their grandchildren, grown children miss their parents, siblings miss one another along with cousins, aunts, uncles, and close family friends. We understand because we are feeling it, too.
While families all over the world are having to keep their distances from one another, there is hope to be had. The precautions we take now are paving the way for togetherness later. We will, once again, be able to be near those we love and shed the blanket of isolation we are currently under. Our Aqua Home Care team is doing our part by following CDC guidelines and implementing practices that promote good health. We are putting safety measures into place in order to help maintain the wellness of those utilizing our in-home caregiver referral services and the wellness of the caregivers who care for them.
What we do now matters later. Washing our hands often, keeping safe distances, wearing personal protective equipment, cleaning and disinfecting surfaces, and covering coughs and sneezes are all crucial in preventing exposure. Here at Aqua Home Care, we are doing all that we can to aid in flattening the curve. In-home care recipients continue to receive the daily living support they need while remaining safely at home. In-home caregivers continue to implement practices that keep their clients and themselves at a decreased risk. Maintaining personal wellness now will help make the togetherness we’ve all been missing possible.
